The Challenge
A major EV battery manufacturing expansion required disciplined quality leadership across a highly technical, fast-moving project involving a new primary production facility and 13 support buildings. With deep foundations, clean rooms, dry rooms, extensive MEP/FP systems, and a broad range of specialist consultants and trade partners, the project demanded structured coordination and rigorous accountability at every phase.

- 963,000 SF across the primary manufacturing facility and 13 support buildings, including administration, main production, safety, warehouse, hazardous materials, cell test, hot oil boiler, SRP, NMP, control, utility, and security
- Deep foundations, structural steel, insulated metal panel cladding, TPO roof membrane, clean rooms, dry rooms, and extensive MEP/FP systems throughout
Chilbuild’s Role
Served as Quality Manager with oversight responsibility across both project management and project execution teams. Led quality assurance and quality control processes from design through final inspection, while coordinating envelope consultants, fire suppression consultants, architects, engineers, and trade partners through a unified BIM Execution Plan.
