Our Team
About James Childers
James Childers founded Chilbuild after more than 16 years leading complex projects across advanced manufacturing, technology, healthcare, energy, government, hospitality, and institutional environments.
His career spans the full arc of project delivery — from early roles as an estimator and field superintendent to owner’s representation and executive advisory work on projects ranging from $3M to $1B. That ground-level experience is
what makes Chilbuild different: the perspective here isn’t theoretical. It comes from having been on the job, in the field, at the table, and accountable for outcomes.
James founded Childers Construction, LLC in 2020, building a general contracting business that grew to five employees and over $500K in revenue before transitioning into advisory and owner’s representation roles. Chilbuild Consulting
was launched in 2026 to formalize and expand that advisory work — serving both businesses and high-net-worth private clients who need trusted, experienced guidance on complex matters.
